Jiaogulan Tea (Immortal Tea) 150gm

Please note - this is a high quality Jiaogulan tea. There are other inferior Jiaogulan teas on the market that incorporate stem and bark of the vines which gives the tea an acrid taste. Our tea is pure leaf and has a slightly sweet floral taste which leaves the pallet refreshed.

The Chinese kept it secret for over 2000 years! Following the first Chinese nationwide census, demographers noted a large number of people 100 years old and more in two Southern Chinese provinces. After years of study the research discovered the locals consumed a plant called "immortality herb." (Bùxiu yàocao) instead of regular green tea.

Today in China this plant is called "Jiaogulan". Jiaogulan's literal translation is "shared twisted blue" vine. In the West, we call it, "Gynostemma pentaphyllum."

In the last few decades over 5,660 scientific studies prove the amazing longevity benefits of jiaogulan. This research has indicated many health benefits of jiaogulan, such as increasing antioxidant levels, lowering cholesterol, regulating high blood pressure, up regulating metabolism, weight loss & strengthening immunity.
